DERMAL FILLER LIVE PATIENT TRAINING CERTIFICATION COURSE (8 CEs):

This course covers the basic science of dermal fillers, safe injection techniques, proper patient facial evaluation and anatomy, safe protocols, pre/post procedure steps and more.  No other courses incorporate bluent end cannula training at the beginner level.  FACES dermal filler training is designed to build your confidence as an injector and prepare you to go back to your practice and be able to safely and confidently inject patients.  All FACES courses are designed to save you time and money by not requiring multiple levels of training.  Re-invigorate your practice by adding dermal filler treatements with this Anatomically Based, academically Rigorous, and Scientifically Driven Seminar.

Course Objectives:

• Identify specific areas of the aging face and features that can be improved by dermal fillers
• Conduct a thorough patient consultation to evaluate the potential need for and assess the suitability of facial injectables
• Identify danger zones and pertinent neurovascular anatomy
• Avoid, recognize and manage adverse events
• Correct document treatment in writing and photographs.

DERMAL FILLER REFRESHER COURSE (4 CEs):

Do you need to build your injectable confidence? Have you already completed a dermal filler course, but know you need a “refresher?” Was your dermal filler training over a year ago? All dedicated practitioners know that educational reviews are critical. Update your knowledge and skills by joining us for this comprehensive half-day presentation.

REQUIRED: To enroll in this refresher course, you should have completed at least six (6) hours of a foundational dermal filler course. This refresher course only covers theory and anatomy and does not include a hands-on treatment component. This is not a certification course.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

• Describe the characteristics of hyaluronic acid fillers and how they affect duration
• Outline the current available HA dermal fillers and their clinical applications
• Give examples of facial anatomical danger zones and possible adverse events
• Describe how hyaluronidase is used and the current protocol for vascular occlusion
