• BOTOX ADVERSE EVENTS: HOW TO AVOID, RECOGNIZE AND TREAT COMPLICATIONS (3 CE)

Hybrid Event (In-Person & Live/Virtual Options) 8901 Herrmann Dr, Columbia, MD, United States

Complication confidence: What every toxin injector must know. You’ve mastered injection techniques—but are you prepared when things don’t go as planned? This 3-hour program covers the critical skills often overlooked in basic training: recognizing, managing, and preventing adverse events associated with botulinum toxin treatment. From common complications to rare but serious events, you’ll learn the advanced protocols that separate experienced injectors from truly expert ones.

At the conclusion of the program, participants will be better able to:

    ● Describe the most common toxin complication and how to avoid it

    ● Discuss management of eyelid ptosis

    ● Describe paradoxical masseteric hypertrophy etiology, and management

    ● Discuss the mechanism of xerophthalmia and lagophthalmos when treating orbicularis oculi
